All that is needed is for DC public works to "right" the tree, and place three supports with cable taunt around the tree to allow the tree a few years to reset its roots.
this would SAVE the government and it's people some $250 (from purchasing a new tree and planting it) .. please DC311, consider responding, but to re-establish, not remove. respectfully yours, chuck. thank you DC311 & thank you neighbors.

please, please, please DC311, this tree could be SAVED and rather than replaced adding to the neighborhoods value.
PLEASE consider re-establishing this tree in it's environment, rather than cutting it and removing it.
